Is it safe to remove Iproj language files (such as Chinese, Russian, etc.) with a program such as "Spring Cleaning"?

There are risks in using Monlingual. You must have a very careful look at the defaults. They may be set to remove much more than just languages. It will take forever to run and free up maybe 2GB at most. You must be very careful what you remove using this program. It can be quite dangerous.

If the OP needs to clear room on the drive, he would be much better off looking in the Home folder for movies, music etc.

Thanks WZZZ, it sounds like good advice. Actually, I went ahead and used 'Spring Cleaning," carefully. It appears that crucial files are protected (somehow), as it would erase only about 1/4 of them. Still, my machine appears to be running faster. I keep minimum photos and the like, but I'll look in the 'Home" to see what's not needed.
