Im planning on buying a Speck case, but cant deicide if the Clear Case or Black Satin case is better.
I like the clear case, due to it not taking away the MBA looks, but the black case also looks nice, with the apple logo showing though the case when its on.
Im trying to get peoples views on each case and hopefully this will help me make up my mind

I have the black satin and I like it better than the clear case. The satin has a definite nice feel on it. The clear case feels like a cheap plastic case. The clear case is also easier to scratch and you can see the difference over a few weeks.
Visit your nearest (macbook) accessory store or apple store and you should be able to compare the two.
My vote is black, too. I bought the case based on the aluminum feeling insecure in my hand. The feel of the black makes you condident you won't drop it. Plus I get 'what is THAT?' comments from people that make it fun.

I'll throw my 2 cents in as well... I prefer (and have) the black satin on my 13" MBP, 15" MBP, and my 11" Air. I've had some of the clear ones in the past (before they made the satin). They certainly worked well to protect the machines, but they didn't hold up well in terms of scratching, etc. The satin finish is much more durable.
I have the clear case on mine. I love it! It's very protective. I've noticed a few scratches on it, that would have definitely been on the actual laptop, had it not been for the case. It also looks pretty natural.
