Quicktime Broadcaster : how to get it to work from one IP to another ?

Hello !

I am trying to do a monocast with Quicktime Broadcaster, from one mac to another, at 2 different IPs (2 locations).

I got this to work locally (of course), but when I enter the IP of the receiver in the broadcaster, and send him the file, quicktime just hangs with a black frame.

I know I am supposed to do some nerd action with the ports, and I am pretty sure I did it.
I forwarded the ports I configured in the broadcaster, to my local IP in my router configuration.

I am aware that some information is probably missing for someone to be able to help me, but just ask and I'll be happy to send out screencaps !

Thanks for your help, I will now start refreshing this page every second 😁
