When I upload a file or a project to Final Cut Server does it actually create a new "online file" or like final cut pro does it simply link to the media at it's present location?
If the media you are uploading is already stored on an FCSVR Edit-in-Place device, it will link the media at its present location. If not, the media will be copied to the device location you select.
