I am trying to figure out how to screen cast an iPad. Does anyone know how the software developers do it when they make their commercials?
iPad 2, iOS 4.3.2
They use the iDevice simulator on a mac. For that you have to be a developer to use the simulator. Some people use a video camera to show the iPad screen.
I'm thinking that we might be able to utilize iPad2's HDMI out to record the video. Does anyone know if that has been accomplished yet?

Ha! Awesome. I already found the Black Magic and have it sent to my boss for purchasing. I assume it would work, but wanted to make sure. I'm glad I was right. I'll reply back after I try it and let y'all know how it worked.
