Mac lost power while Garageband project was open.

I had been adding some extra tracks onto a project I was working on. After getting the mix right I sent it in full to itunes. So I do have an audio file of the competed track. However the macbook lost power before I had a chance to save the garageband project.

When I restarted the macbook the last saved version of the project opened.

Can I recover the garageband project with the additional tracks I was working on?

or....

Can I send the itunes version of the track back to garageband with the various tracks split back out?

Thanks.

not the project, no, but if you recorded audio, you likely can recover the raw audio files. ctrl-click the project, choose Show Contents, and open the media folder. any existing audio files will be there, drag and drop them into the timeline of a new project.

that is not possible with any consumer software (it's like mixing blue and yellow ink together and then trying to get just the blue back)
