I want to decrease XP space, can I use Snow Leopard Disk Utility to resize the partitions without having to lose Mac OSX file/apps?

I have a Macbook Pro with 10.6 Leopard OS X. I initially partitioned Leopard and Windows XP 50% each. I realized I would like to increase Leopard volume, because I rarely use Windows XP (prob like 1-4 times a year).

Is it possible to utilize Snow Leopard Disk Utility to resize the partitions without files loss in Leopard and Windows XP? I plan to delete most of the stuff/apps that take a lot of space on Windows XP prior to resizing partitions.

Please advise.
