OS X Spaces with 2 monitors

I have just got into using Spaces on 10.6.7 and think its great way of setting up screens

However I have just connected a 2nd DVI Monitor, and see that Spaces has now detected my 4 "spaces' with the 2nd Monitor attached so they are like 'double squares' for each of my 4 Spaces showing my MBP screen and Monitor together.

This is all fine, but i was thinking, is it possible to copy some of the programs I have open to other spaces so i can launch different combinations of spaces/screensets?

For example

Space 1 = X + Y

Space 2 = X + Z

Space 3 = Z + W etc

So different spaces have different combinations of the same programs, so they launch together?

I can't seem to find a way to 'copy' the same program but to different screens?
