1Ghz G4

If I use virtual PC on a recent, (only 2 years old) G4 powerbook with 1 Ghz processor. What is that the equivelant to on a PC. If the spec on the software demands 1.5Ghz, on PC remember I'll be using virtual PC, will my 1 Ghz not be enough? I'm thinking about dual processors here.
Thanks in advance.

It will act very slow on a PC, and i dont think that the program which requires 1.5 GHz will not work...but the virtual pc might see the processor as a different speed.

virtual pc seems to run at a 200-300 MHz speed, but it depends on your system...it is ment for running very basic programs and typing documents. What program is it

Probably won't work, anyway, unless it's 2D only and has a very low demand for graphics. The "virtual" graphics chip is based on an ancient and obscure model, I can't remember which, but of Pentium 2 (I kid you not) vintage.

No matter what machine you run it on VPC is as slow as a witless old three-legged dog going uphill through deep snow - and not trying very hard. Check out Barefeats.com for the specs on it running on a quad processor G5 - "disappointing" is putting it very mildly.
