remove photo in email
Hi Macsperts,
My wife set up her iMac G.5 2.4 intel duo core and hates the little photo of her that goes out on her emails.
How can she, or I, change it?
the puter is on OS 10.5.8 w/Mail 3.6.
cheers!

Don't forget that the recipients of your emails don't see it!
To remove the picture rather than change it, open Address Book and select your personal card, then from the menubar select Card > Clear Custom Image. Now the system will use Apple’s generic user picture in the login window and System Preferences’ Accounts pane. Mail and Address Book will remain blank until you designate a new picture in Address Book or System Preferences > Accounts.

I think we did the photo before uploading the old address book as my wife has no image on her card in address book.
Does not compute!
Is there or is there not an image that she sees on her outgoing emails, (but which does appear to the recipient)?
Hi Claus, thanks for the input.
I couldnt be bothered to check as she couldnt be bothered to look so were taking your word on it!
I hate this stuff.
Now I gotta try to import address book to iBook.
This never ends!
