I got a second hand iPad and I wish to change its owner's name to mine from the previous owner. How do I do it?

Connect it to the computer and open iTunes. Once iTunes connects you will see it listed in the sidebar. Click inside the existing name to rename it.
Hello....In tried all that is proposed in this forum....I can still see my husband's name on settings/owner info
I really want to change it!
i can see the change on itunes when i do it, i synch before and after, then when i disconnect and re-connect again, the new info is gone, its going back to the previous name...

I had the same issue but it corrected itself when I powered the ipad off and back on.
In other words, reboot: just like Windows. 😉
