Can't find my playlists in iTunes

I just moved my itunes library from my pc to a external hard drive and now to my new mac. All my songs are there but no playlists. In my itunes folder on mac i have an iTunes Music Libary.xml and iTunes Libary.xml plus an iTunes library.itl. I feel like the answer to where my playlists are is here but i can't see it.

Any suggestions?

Look at this article for what you should have done: Move iTunes from PC to MAC, http://www.macworld.com/article/146958/2010/03/move_itunes_windows_mac.html

I notice you don't list an "iTunes Library" without any extension. That's what you should have on a Mac. This file is a database of the songs in your library and the playlists you've created. It correlates to the iTunes library.itl file from your PC. This article explains: What are iTunes library files,

I'll leave it up to you about what you want to do. I would start over using the Macworld article.

Here is a more extensive article if you want to look for a solution. Scroll down to the section titled "Moving Between Operating Systems". Transferring your iTunes Library:
