uninstall before updating OS?

Question

uninstall before updating OS?

I'm updating my OS from 10.5.8 to 10.6x next week, wondering if I need to deactivate FCP and uninstall/re-install? If so, is there a separate app to clean uninstall? What's the process here?

You will definitely want to do a clean install on FCS. You can use this to uninstall.

Then install from disks or DMG's if you made them from your discs.
