Change background colour - white too bright

Hi, I have light sensitive eyes, the white is all too bright. I want to be able to change the white on google, text edit, mail etc, to a softer colour. Is this possible? If not, why not? How do I actually contact Apple? This is an accessibility issue. I have tried all sorts:

I dont want to turn my brightness down for a couple of reasons

I do have Turn Off the Lights, which is a partial solution for Safari, but not ideal

I know you can do inverse colours, but its hardly ideal

I just want to get rid of all this horrible bright white!

I know you can buy special glasses but that is expensive.

Hi,

What is not ideal?

Do you know i have build inside a option "eye protection". If you turn this option on, it automatic turn the page dark (opacity 80% black) when you open a new page.

And if you check the option "mouse spotlight" on, then it show you the mouse. So you can click on a link without see back the white bright light.

If you got feedback to make a other options... say it.

(make sure you have the latest Turn Off the Lights extension version, v2.0.0.6)

Kind Regards,
