I have a 15' Macbook Pro from Summer 2009 (2.53Ghz core 2 duo, 4GB 1066Mhz DDR3 RAM, 320GB Hard drive) and I've decided to upgrade the RAM to 8GB. I was wondering if it was possible to use 8GB 1333MHz DDR3 of RAM? The apple website offers 8GB 1066MHz to upgrade my Macbook Pro but I was wondering if 1333MHz would work rather than 1066MHz?

A few things, first please do not post in a large font size in bold, it comes across as yelling at us. Next this is an iMac forum. If you want a MBP forum the click Apple Support Communities and search for a MacBook Pro. Finally the answer is no.

Economically your best bet is to purchase RAM from a reputably third party vendor like OWC or Crucial.
