Also fellows....

I have checked the apple website for the model # of all the MacBookPro 8,2 and it is MC723xx/A,

And as per that information....everymac and Wikipedia websites say that a 1600MHz DDR3 Ram should be upgradable upto 16GB....

the processor specs as per those websites for a MacBookPro 8,2 with a model no MC723xx/A is Intel® Core™ i7-2720QM Processor (6M Cache, up to 3.30 GHz) which is compatible with 1333MHz/1600MHz DDR3 but

Intel® Core™ i7-2675QM Processor (6M Cache, up to 3.10 GHz) is only compatible witn 1333MHz DDR3 not 1600MHz this informatin is confirmed on the Intel website....

and the MacBookPro 8,2 can handle 16GB easily, which sounds promising.....

inshort 1333MHz/1600MHz DDR3 16GB is compatible with Macbookpro 8,2

But please do reply if any one have any other ideas and have tried it.

Freddy
