headphones problem - low volume

If other earphones/headphones are OK and you have had your iPhone less than 12 months (which it would seem you have), then I would go back to the place of purchase or contact Apple and arrange for a replacement set to be given to you under warranty, clearly if you can prove that the problem only exists with those particular earphones and not others, then those earphones are at fault. If however the fault has arisen due to rough handling, then the warranty would not cover this.

You didn't read the post. The original headphones are low, but when he plugged in his friend's, it was loud.

Obviously, the headphones seem to have gone out. You need new ones. Headphones (and speakers) do not last forever.

I did read the post 🙂. I did say if other headphones are OK, and that if BaselAS can prove that the problem only exists with those particular earphones (those particular earphones been the ones that came with the iPhone) then those earphones/headphones are at fault.

I noticed you highlighted some bold text (until he got me someone else's headphones and then I noticed the huge difference).

I got same problem with my earphones. after 8-10 months of use the volume will be lower.

I've got now a new pair (3rd pair in 2 years) of apple earphones and the difference is incredible.

I guess that apple should change something.

I had earphones from Sony who last for minimum 2-3 years (hard usage) till a cable broke. but volume was always the same.
