counterfeit iPhone 3GS 16GB on ebay.co.uk

I recently bought an iPhone 3GS 16 GB on ebay.co.uk , which was listedas an Apple product

OnceI opened the parcel I realized it was a counterfeitiPhone. However, as I am not a mobile expert, I went to the nearestT-Mobile Shop in Bedford this morning for further investigation. The sales personat this T-Mobile shop confirmed that the product that I had received wascounterfeit. He showed me that the packaging/box that I received was fake anddidn’t match the genuine packaging for an Phone. Original Iphone works on AppleMac OS and the iPhone that I received it’s not working on Apple os.The default inbuiltapplications from Apple like Itunes, App store and Safari browser that areavailable in original Iphone were missing in fake iPhone that I received.memoryavailable is only 3 GB, it should be the 16GB as mentioned in original eBayadvertise.I have send mail to seller for counterfeitiPhone ask him to refund me for fake iPhone. However seller activelyavoid the refund topic in his response while my email clearly mentioned that Ineed refund. I request you to intervene for refund as soon as possible. He hasnot even explicitly accepted or denied the product is counterfeit iPhoneI have opened the Case # 5008800092 on eBay.At last, I wantto get the refund for my Iphone please let me know how I can get it.

Apple will not help you with this, and no one here can help you either.

Let the buyer beware certainly applies when using eBay even with their so called protections.

Only eBay can help you with this, and with all the official avenues to purchase an official/legitimate iPhone throughout the world, I suggest you make use of one of them instead of buying one on eBay.
