I recently dropped my iPhone into the bathtub and it didn't work for awhile until today. My problem is that my phone is telling me to connect to iTunes and iTunes is saying that it can't connect because I have a passcode on my phone and I need to enter it in my iPhone to connect to iTunes. My phone doesn't even even let me enter my passcode because it's telling me to connect to iTunes. I don't know what I can do about this.

I've tried. My iPhone screen shows the logo where I need to connect my iPhone to iTunes. When I did, iTunes couldn't connect to my iPhone because it is locked with a passcode. I can not enter my passcode because my phone will only show the logo to connect to iTunes and I can only make emergency calls.
You are not prompted for the passcode when in Recovery mode, so it sounds like you didn't place your iPhone into Recovery mode per the instructions for doing so included with the link provided.

If you cannot put it into recovery mode and iTunes will not let you restore, the iPhone is toast.
I got the same issue. Desperately finding solution.
