I have a brand new Imac with Os 10.6.7 and cannot figure out how to delete/uninstall Dropbox! I could kill myself for downloading this horrid program. Thanks for your help.

I looked at the developer web site but could not find an uninstaller.
Have you tried just dragging it to the trash.
You might also do a find (include system files) and then drag the offending items to the trash.

Thanks Barry for your reply about this subject. I am a new Imac user and although I am very good with it, I sometimes have technical difficulties so I do not understand exactly what you told me to do. I don't want to be a pain, but maybe you could explain it to me in a more simpler way. Thanks!
Hi again:
To delete the program, just locate it in your system and drag it to the trash. If that does not get everything, do the following:
To do a "find," close everything. Then go to the menu bar and click on file. A drop down menu will appear. Click on "find." Select system files from where it says "kind." Then select "include" from the next box. Then type dropbox into the search field.
This should get you every instance of the program. At that point, you can delete the ones you wish. Be careful, the search will probably locate many things that are not associated with the program you mentioned.
I sometimes assume things (bad on my part). 😟

Dropbox installs a program called 'Growl' which needs to be uninstalled also. Here is a link to the uninstaller.
