Re: Creating slideshows for Apple TV

I have recently purchased an Apple TV and I think mistakingly, believed that any slideshow with music, needed to be created in iPhoto and then exported to iTunes. This seemed to be a very time-consuming process, and I now believe that had I produced a slideshow and set it up within iPhoto, I could still access this without the need for exporting to iTunes. Can someone please tell me which is the correct way to do this. Apologies if this question should have been placed within the Apple TV section but it is predominantly to do with iPhoto, so that is why I've submitted it to this community.

Can someone also please advise me, what I should do with the file that now sits within iTunes. Can I delete it with impunity or would it affect my photo collection?
