Can I watch a movie more than once with in the 48hour rental?rs

We rented a movie earlier today and would now like to replay it. When we hit "play" it reads , downloading, ready in 17hours.

In settings, test network indicates that connection is faster than 10 Mbps.

Why is it taking so long to reload?

AppleTV 2, iOS 4.3

This to me is a major problem with AppleTV 2 rentals.

It has enough solid state memory to cache at least 1 HD movie, and once downloaded I think it should retain it to allow replay within the view/rental period - even if you have a fast connection, redownloading to rewatch is a waste of bandwidth for Apple and the user. If other activities require the movie is flushed from memory it should ask (or at least thsi should be configurable on/off in Settings) first. While this mainly affects people with slower connections, using 3-4GB of your available download quota (if fixed) each time you rewatch a rental is stupid when it doesn't necessarily have to.

should be able to re-watch movie or parts of movies as many times as you want in the 48hr time period..

my downloads start in about about 20-45sec (25Mb/s connection).. even re-watching.. i've had times when i've seen 2hr pop up and then almost immediately falls to minutes then start playing almost immediately..

if i ever see that it's downloading slowly an doesn't look like it's going to download in a reasonable time and funny stuff is happening.. i reboot my apple tv and if that doesn't work then rebooting my router always solves it.. don't know why, but it ALWAYS works for me.. fairly painless (~1 min) and worth a try..
