Draft email ipad -> Mac

When I create a draft email on the ipad and save it, it doesn't end up in my Drafts folder on the Mac. At least in the Gmail account, there is a different "drafts" folder located down the bottom under the Gmail heading, and I can move it into the Drafts folder up the top, but its really annoying because I can't easily switch between Mac and iPad for drafting emails. It seems even worse in reverse, because I can find the draft made on the Mac under the hierarchy somewhere on the ipad, but often the Drafts folder is greyed out on the iPad for some reason if I try and move , and if I can't move the draft into the iPad Drafts, there is no way to actually edit it. Well I could cut and paste into a new email, but this is all very messy, and I'm surprised that this simple task has awful integration between Mac and iPad. Is there any way to fix this?

There are two ways to achive what you want:

1. Use IMAP rather than POP for the mail account on both iPad and Mac - that keeps all the folders synced. It means recreating the accounts on both machines, and depends on your mail server supporting IMAP

2. Use iTunes to sync the accounts from iPad to Mac - connect the iPad, and navigate to the Info tab to select Sync Mail Accounts

I was using pop everywhere already.

You need to use IMAP.

I tried syncing accounts from mac to ipad with itunes, but it didn't help at all. As far as I can tell you can't sync the other way from ipad to mac.

Syncing Mail with iTunes will sync ONLY the account info (name password, server, etc.). It will not sync emails
