I have a dead pixel on my screen what can i do?

If you have a dead pixel on your screen you will need to do one of 2 things. Firstly you can contact Apple Support via phone and have them set up a repair for you. Alternatively you can look at booking yourself into a Retail Store for an appointment for them to check the iPhone and repair/replace on the spot.

A singular dead pixel on an iPhone is grounds for replacement.

As long as it can be definitively confirmed yes, it will be covered under the warranty and will be replaced 🙂 Doubtful they would repair, but it's always a possibility.

You could go back to Verizon, though it's highly likely they might send it away for repair. If you go into an Apple Retail Store instead they tend to do everything on the spot.

Not entirely sure with Verizon's options (Im in Australia) but can only give it a try 🙂

If in Apple Store it most likely WILL be a refurbished, but honestly? The refurbished units are pretty much brand new. Each part in a refurbished unit is basically brand new, just 'scavenged' from other phones. But i can guarantee it'll work just fine 🙂

Hahha yeah, i mean there's no harm in asking for a new one. If it's not that old you could even go to Verizon and see if they have an ELF or DoA Procedure that they can replace as new?

Generally Carriers will replace as new, whereas the ARS would be Refurbished.
