Computer won't detect my iPhone 4.

I have been on vacation for a week now. Every day I've been plugging my phone into my computer to get the pictures off of the phone. Today I plugged it in, and I got a "device driver not installed" error. I unplugged it a few times and plugged it back in. Now it won't do anything at all. The iPhone charges, but won't show up in My Computer or iTunes. I've tried restarting the phone, computer, and the 2 services in services.msc. I updated iTunes, tried 4 different USB ports, two different cables, etc. Nothing is working. I've done nothing different on my computer since I last plugged it in to get the pictures off. Worked perfect yesterday. I can't figure this out. I tried someone else's iPhone 4 and have the same problems. It charges but doesn't show up anywhere on the computer. I really need some help with this. Thanks.

All by which the problem is caused is bcuz of ur iPhone driver. It is not installed correctly in ur pc. U can do one thing. Go in my computer properties, Device manager. U will definitly find ur iphone with a mark their. (do this while ur iphn is connected to pc) then open tht, and select update drivers/reinstall drivers. It will automatically install drivers from internet and then ur iphone will be shown in iTunes and pc as well.

If this doesnot work out, tryna re install ur windows, if the opt. 1 doesnt works, this one will definitly work 🙂

I have checked everything in device manger portable devices don't show i'm using windows XP when I browse through usb controllers in device manger it doesn't show anything related to apple or iphone whatsoever. So is there any possible fix for my problem.
