Hi, I do work in remanufacturing engines, and there is a diference between Remanufacturing, refurbish, repair and rebuilt.

On electronic devices, a hard drive, memory or chip could have gone wrong and this goes back to the factory (or store) and gets replace by a new component.

Remanufacturing means: Take apart all the components, pass each component trow the inspection as it would be new (dimention, hardness, or anything they test/meassure on a new one) and then it goes to the assambly line where same testing of a new (or more updated even) gets inspected.

Repair just means swap or replace a component, but the remaining components doesnt get tested and could fail (if they got damage by a disscharge)

Of all the options, please always chose Remanufacture and last repair.

Hi

Yes - that sounds correct.

If you have a phone replaced by Apple, then they will replace it with a refurbished/remanufactured iPhone. They are perfectly okay to use, although some people have different opinions on the matter.

I, myself, have a refurbished one, and have found it better than my first iPhone (which was obviously replaced by this refurbished one haha)
