My iPhone 3Gs 'Charging is not supported with this accessory'

So for christmas i was bought and iPhone 3Gs and i have had it for what around 4 months now when plug in my charger it comes up with "Charging is not supported with this accessory" i've heard if the charger is old etc you may have problems, but mines still new!! Im using the Apple Adapter and USB cable.
When i use a different charge its fine... is there a way i can fix mine because i cant buy a new one.. im pretty dissapointed considering i havent had it for very long. 😢

😠YESS!!! The same thing is happening with me, just a different phone! The same thing happened with my sister's phone, but she ended up buying another one. They say the new phones get a black charger now that is thicker! If anything, it shouldn't matter rather you had the phone for 4 months or not! So every night I have to adjust my charger and make sure my phone is charging.
