Once I open the files and work on them, how do I save them and put them back on my dropbox account?
And if I can't do that, what's the way around it? Do I have to email it to myself and replace the file on my dropbox once I am at the computer?

My solution doesn't work if using a new version of excel :( once you email it back it's not compatible...
It'll work with a WebDAV server. Check out this link with details on how to tie your Dropbox account to DropDAV:

Thank you so much for your answer... However I did everything you said and it won't let me log in using my dropbox username and pw, it tells me is incorrect... And it's not.

Never mind my previous answer... I figure it out.
Thanks! It's giving me an error when it saves it... I read somewhere that my excel might be more advanced than the numbers... I might have to play with it...
