Have just bought a Dlan 200 AV wireless starter kit and cannot seem to get it to work.
The wifi address appears but as soon as you try to access it it says connection failed.
Anyone used this and does it work
Using Imac 24"/macbook and Ipad.

You should tell us first off what you have tried in troubleshooting this issue yourself. Us suggesting things and you telling us that you have already tried that gets old really fast.
Have you used an Ethernet cable and checked if it works with one of your Macs hardwired to the network?

What is baffling me is this kit is supposed to be Plug & Play.
Well I get the plug bit but cannot get any play.
If I plug in the larger of the two units I can get a wireless signal and get the internet to work from it as long as the ethernet cable is g connected.
In the instructional diagrams it shows the AV MINI plugged in via the ethernet cable and the wireless unit ( larger one) plugged in on its own and transmitting a wireless signal.
I cannot get the computer to see the AV mini, it will see the wireless one.
I accept I could be doing something Wrong but at the moment cannot seem to see it.
Is this the kit that you have?
If this is the correct product, I think that you misunderstand how this works. Only the larger unit, the one that also has the three Ethernet ports, has wifi capability. The smaller unit is the one that should be connected to your ISP's modem and it is transmitting your connection to the larger unit through the electrical wiring in your home. As you can see from the diagram;
The idea is that regardless of where you have to have your modem, you can install the larger unit anywhere in your home where you want to hard wire up to three devices with ethernet or establish a wifi hotspot for multiple wireless devices.
