Hi everone,
first the good news. I got a Lexar 128GB SD Card yesterday evening and it works with the new Mac Book Air.
But ...
The speed is very slow. It to 38hrs to fill it up.
Has anyone an any idea how to speed it up?
Some more infos:
-All latest OS patches are applied via Software Update
-It is formatted MAC OS Extended (Journaled)

I have the same mac, I am planning to buy lexar 128 gb class 10 or transcend 64 gb class 10.
do u still have a problem with yours, slowly? will you recommend it?
need your advice before spending money.

Hi Ali,
for some reasons the first fill up takes this long ( at end it was 72h not 38 as i told before)
Just copying 50GB on it again , and it takes two hours . it seems it is a problem with the first write on SD Card.
The speed is resonable around 2 times slower the my external USB2 Hard disk. To slow for iPhoto by the way , it tooks ages to launch.
So last reason left to buy is simply the size.

andreasfromaachen-- I also have the LEXAR 128 GB SD card. Works on my cameras but it is not recognized by my 2011 Macbook Air or my iPad 2. Did you tweak anything to get the card to be recognized by your Macbook Air?

no it worked right away. Maybe your camera formatted it in a special way? I never used my one in Camera.
