my iphone will not turn on

is ur iphone on recovery mode or on restore use ur other computer and fallow these steps

1) Connect your phone to itunes

2) Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button simultaneously untill your phone turn on

3) On your computer, You should see a diolouge box in itunes which says that your phone is in recovery mode and needs to be restored.

4) Restore your phone!

Hi Wjosten, i have the same problem, how long do you have to hold down the Home and Sleep buttons to get a result????

i've buggered mummies phone doing an upgrade and now the phone won't respond and her itunes won't see it, so as you can imagine i'm in the sh#t.

My iPhone will not turn on. It will show the apple icon as it it is loading, but when the time comes for me to enter my pin code to unlock it shuts off before giving me the option. I know that holding the power button and home key together for 8 seconds will reset the phone, and holding it for 15 seconds will restore the phone. I have tried both. I have also tried doing this while its connected to the computer and also while it is not. I dont know what else to try. Please help...

Hi, my phone turned itself off over a week ago, when I press the 2 buttons together nothing happens, I have tried a soft reset and all the other suggestions I have found but still nothing, when I connect to itunes it has no information for the phone and says it is in recovery mode, tries to restore and then comes up with error 21, any advice you can give would be of great help 🙂

I had the same problem. IPhone would not come up after sending a text. It went into hibernation

And would not restart. I thought that the battery had been depleted, charged for 2 hours it would still restart!

Solved: while plugged in and holding home buttum and top right button down I had someone unplug power connector at base of phone. The phone then restarted.
