My Ipod nano 6th gen shows a white screen with sad face

Hi

My ipod nano is showing me a white screen with a sad face on it

I tried to reset it but with no use, everytime it resets, it returns back to the sad face

and itunes won't recognize the device

this is a picture of the screen

any help please

While the nano is connected to your computer and iTunes is open, hold down the volume up, volume down and sleep/wake button at the same time until iTunes brings up a dialog then release the buttons.

The dialog should walk you through 'recovering' the nano. See if that does it for you.

Has it gotten wet?
