my boot camp partition is showing on my desktop and in finder but not in startup disk. How do I fix this?

When this happened to me (after Windows install or Image restore?), I also did not see it with Option key at boot time. In OSX it was on desktop. I ejected from desktop and then did not see it in System Preferences-> Startup Disk.

I only saw and was able to select it when it was not ejected.

Hi,

the installation/usage of NTFS-Drivers in OSX (like NTFS-3G and the like) can cause such trouble.

Other than uninstalling these drivers I am not aware of a solution.
