Not possible to rollback. Since it sounds like most of you are not having troubles anywhere but on your home network, this leads me to believe that the home network is at fault. I would first try resetting the router, by unplugging it for a bit, and then plugging it back in. If this does not resolve the issue, I would log into my routers configuration and make sure everything looks to be in order. One thing you might try in the router configuration is changing the channel frequency in which it is operating on. As an example, if it is operating on channel 6, I would try changing it to channel 11. The reason this may help, is because it is possible that other wireless devices in your home ( for example a wireless telephone ) that are operating on the same frequency may be causing interference.

I'm having the same issue. My original iPhone 4 I had had for about 4 months when I took it to my local apple store last week and they replaced it. I assumed it was due to the 4.3.2 update, but with the iPhone 4 I got as a replacement I didn't download any updates but the issue still occurred and now I can no longer connect to my wifi (well I connect but it doesn't use it, and when 3G is turned off it says cannot connect to internet). So I just downloaded 4.3.3 and the issue has not been fixed, I have also just tried reconnecting to my wifi and it still won't use it.

Hi, Sorry to be the burden of bad news but my IPhone 4 is also having problems connecting to my home network – worked fine until about 3days ago!

Now it shows the tick beside the “Home Network Name” [HNN] then about 10 seconds later the little circle spins beside the (Chose a Network)header to indicate something is happening with the network then the tick beside my HNN disappears and I am asked for my password, after putting in the correct password it displays the message “Unable to join the network HNN”!! After I click the Dismiss button I am taken back to the Enter Password option again! So I click join again and end up in a loop..

Want to be even more confused? When I was at work today I joined the works wifi on my IPhone and it never dropped the connection the whole time I was there “7 Hrs” Ok, I know your thinking “well it must be your home wifi” well I’m on my wifi laptop at the moment and after a broadband test I am down loading=10.29Mbps & ping=42ms !!!

My ISP is talktalk and I know they had some problems the otherday but you think this would affect all my wifi and not just the IPhone??

My iOS is 4.3.3 (8J2) and modem Firmware is 04.10.01 – if this helps?

I tried your option as well GregTB but still got no where ;(

Should I go back to the shop or reset my IPhone (might have to ask how you do this)

Sorry for such a long spiel but it saves loads of “to me to you” in emails.

Regards in advance.

I'm new to these forums so sorry if I've done it wrong

My iPhone 4 is doing the same thing

I try to connect to wifi and it just searches and finds nowt

All my devices can connect to my home wifi but my iPhone 4 won't

Yet it will connect to my works wifi no problem

I've reset the network on the phone and restored it back to factory default and still the same

My ISP says it's my mobile network

My mobile network says it's my ISP

I think my is it iOS is 4.3.3 (8j2)

Greg, this is NOT the WiFi network wrong. I have 5 other devices which use it fine.

This is clearly an APPLE BUG even if that conflicts with your Apple-does-no-wrong mantra.

I have tried Everything listed above, and my iPhone clearly sees my WiFi network with a STRONG Signal, just as it always did, but won't connect to it, PERIOD.

Does anyone other than Greg have any ideas?

I don't know where you got the idea that I have a "Apple-does-no-wrong mantra," but it is extremely rude of you to be this unappreciative of someone offering their help. I'd be surprised if anyone even takes the time to help you on this forum with that kind of attitude.

Please explain the your logic. If the iPhone connects to every other Wi-Fi network besides the home network, how could it be that the home Wi-Fi network is not somehow involved in the problem. I understand the problem started happening after an iOS update, but this in no way rules out the home Wi-Fi network being part of the problem.

Try follow this

All my seven devices connect to my home hub

My iPhone 4 dosnt

My iPhone 4 connects to my place of work No probs

My phone sometimes finds the hub but only stays connected for a few minutes

I just think my hub has something against iPhones ;-)

Someone suggested try someone else's iPhone 4 but I've to find someone with one

Its looking like I might have to get rid of my ISP because I think it might be a conflict between my router and phone

iPhone 4 cannot connect to home Wi-Fi
