    Try follow this

All my seven devices connect to my home hub

    My iPhone 4 dosnt

My iPhone 4 connects to my place of work No probs

My phone sometimes finds the hub but only stays connected for a few minutes

I just think my hub has something against iPhones ;-)

Someone suggested try someone else's  iPhone 4 but I've to find someone with one

Its looking like I might have to get rid of my ISP because I think it might be a conflict between my router and phone

Don't get rid of your ISP. Just try a new router. If it does not resolve your problems, then return it.

It has not yet been proven that this is a software bug within the iOS update provided by Apple. I'm not saying that this is not the case, just trying to avoid any speculation.

I am sorry Greg, but my 5 other devices hook up just fine to my router, just like my iPhone did until the update.

The iPhone sees WiFi routers and signal strength from neighbouring houses, but I do not have passwords to try those.

You need to focus on the IOS update as the problem. ONLY iPhones with this recent update *recently*, and which worked just fine UNTIL this update, have this problem. ALL other devices work just as before.

Since ONLY the IOS is the changing item, it MUST be the problem. Nothing else has changed At All.

We are having problems as well. Our two iphone 4s are the only devices that do not consistenly connect to wifi.... actually they connect to the router but do not connect to the internet through the router. This just started about a month ago. We are running 4.3.2. I can connect briefly by resetting the router but if I go out of the house and back in it is lost. Any suggestions?

    Hi Greg!

It seems that you have understood the problem correctly - but we have tested every option you have given here, and it still dont work. We have reset our Time Capsule, we get online on our home network with macs & iPads, but not with our iPhones (one iPhone4 and one iPhone 3GS).

When we look at the information on our network on our phones, it doesnt seem to give the phone any IP adresses or other information. And when we try to log onto the home network, we get the message; "Cannot log on to the network" (not that the password is wrong).

This problem is making us go insane....

Since this has happened on the same night for so many users - if it acctually is a home wifi problem, then it must be caused by the Time Capsule then? Might this need an update maybe?

Hope to hear from you - thanx in advance!

    Br,

I am also having this problem with 2 iPhone4(s) that we purchased yesterday. I cannot get either phone to connect to my home WiFi network (Apple Airport Extreme w/ Airport Express working as a network extender). Both phones wanted to update software when I initially synced them with our respective laptops, so I let them update to the latest software. We have 2 Macbook Pros and a iPod Touch that can join the network, but both iPhones just say "Unable to Join" after entering the network password. Have not tried to join other networks yet, but the phone did join the network in the Apple Store when they did the activation.

Same deal here, wont connect to wifi at my house. It was the update that did it, 4.3.2 nothing else. Just did the 4.3.3 and it hasnt been corrected yet. The only way it works at all is after the phone is restarted, but after it loses the first wifi connection it cant connect again.

    HI,

I have been reading all the posts and can concur that we are all having the same problem our IPhones will not connect to our Home networks via WI-FI.  I have only had this problem since updating to software version 4.3.3 (8J2). Now understandable like everyone else i have checked my home router and i have checked other devices such as my laptop that connects to it and all is working properly, which leaves me to conclude that the new update has caused the problem.  If anyone has solved the problem I would very much appreciate the solution.

Update: I was able to join an open network at a local Safeway, but cannot join my network at home. Maybe some bug in the authentication? Also, my 2 iPhones are CDMA (Verizon) so the software version is actually iOS 4.28, because iOS 4.3 is not available yet for CDMA phones.

I have the same problem. I have 2 iphone 4's running 4.3.3 (8J2). Before the latest update, they connected fine, but after the update they won't connect. I have an iPad that still connects fine.

Has anyone tried turning on Airplane mode and then connecting to the Wi-Fi network? Just a thought, let me know if anyone has success when doing this.
