Does anyone know how to create an email template for photos in the new iphoto, I thought the new iphoto software could do this but I can't see how to do it??

that is not a feature of iPhoto - it has a number of preset templates and you can use Apple mail or selected other e-mail clients to e-mail - with some of the you can create your own templates

Thanks for offering to help - How do I access the preset templates of iphoto, or alternatively I have apple mail, can I create a template there, You can see that I'm not completely computer literate!
set iPhoto as the e-mail client - select a photo and click on share ==> e-mail and a selection of templates will come up - choose one and go

Thanks Larry that seems to work, and the journal one even looks kind of professional.
Will I be able to access my address book in iphoto, and will this feature allow me to reduce the size of the photos, when I selected smaller image sizes the email seemed to stay the same size as the original photo's.
If you have iPhoto set to be the email client you will be presented with the available templates once you can selected the photos and used the Share ➙ Email button.
If you use Mail as the email client set it up in iPhoto's General preference pane:

Once you select the photos and use the Share ➙ Email button you can choose the template to use in Mail's window via the Stationary button.

There a many templates to choose from and there are 3rd party stationary templates available. Just Google for them.
