Warning: Logic 8 doesn't read GB files any more

My workflow for compositions and arrangements so far was: do the midi recordings and arranging in GB (for ease of use) and then open the GB file in Logic 8 to work on the score. Since the latest GB update (the one that reads GB for iPad files) this doesn't work any more - Logic 8 doesn't open the new GB files, and it looks like there won't be an update. (I assume that Logic 9 has a current version that will handle current GB projects, but there's a steep upgrade fee.) So everybody who uses Logic in a similar way should be warned!
