Is there any way my g-5 can use my powerbook dual layer burner? In other words, I need it to recognize the powerbook burner as an external burner. This way I can use the processing power of the g-5 and the dual layer ability of my powerbook. My g-5 only has a single layer burner.
Well my final solution for anyone interested was to buy an internal pioneer dual layer burner for my G-5 from OWC for $52. They then refund you $20n to $39 for your old burner if you choose depending on the model you have. What a deal. New dual layer burner works great.
