I have a scatter chart with two y values with a common x axis.
I want to create a trendline using both sets of data but everytime i try i get two lines instead of one.
HELP PLEASE!

Trendlines apply to a single set of data.
To get a single trendline for two data sets, you will need to combine the two sets into a single set. How you do that depends on how the two sets are related to each other. A more detailed description of the data sets might help determine that and make a reasonable suggestion possible.

It's for my engineering course at college.
I have two set of readings from strain gauges on the y-axis and they both correspond to the x-axis which has stress values.
I need a linear trendline through the two data sets to perform a calculation later

Make a third data series that combines both the other two and chart it and give it a Trendline. Set the color of the third series to None to keep it from displaying.
