How do I Edit thumbnails in iBooks?

How do I edit the thumbnail on the iBook library shelf?

try this from your computer


Here is what to do:

1). Open iTunes and click on Books

2). Select the book you want to add cover art to and select Get Info from the File menu

3). Click on the Artwork tab

4). Click the Add… button select the file that contains the image you want to use for the cover art. Alternatively, you can paste an image from your clipboard into the box.

5). Click OK and you are done.

Jake... Thanks for the tip.


It didn't work for me. I am working from my PC running Windows 7 64bit. I create a .jpeg image of text and save it to my desktop. When I use the method you describe, the steps go as you suggest and the image does get added to the Add box. But it doesn't seem to show up on the thumbnail of my books. Odd.


I should have mentioned that I am trying to modify the covers of .pdf file books.


What do you think I am doing wrong?
