Mail View Settings

You mean like this:

I have this problem on my iMac. Mail list is on top with preview pane on bottom and number of emails in a conversation are not listed. How do I get back to the below view:

Mail>Preferences>View

Deselect Classic View

Restart mail (I Had to do this to complete the change)

I realized after posting that I was on an iPad string. Sorry.

When I have classic view selected, it looks like this:

So, neither get me back to that first configuration, which is where I was before selecting/deselecting something.

I had to do a restart (Quit mail not cpu) after deselecting it, I was the way you show and the restart came back to left side foldersd, next column message previews, and then right side threads of mails.
