How do i hear myself talk through the earphones during calls or skype?

Last time i could hear myself talk through the earphones not sure when was the last time.

I depend on it to avoid talking to loud in to the mic. Without this feature its anoying cause i cant judge my volume.

I tried searching for solutions online but everyone seem to not want to hear their own voice and says its a bug that they can hear themselve speak.

Fyi i am using the default apple earphones which comes with the iphone.

Would be great if someone can share their knowledge on this. Cheers

I would be surprised if it's possible. It's not normally something someone would want and it can be extremely distracting. Without headphones, it would cause potential echo or feedback.

Yes it would be irritating if theres no headphones. This "feature" would be pointless if you are not using headphones. Like what you said potential echo.

i am using headphones therefore it seals outside sound partially which makes me unable to hear myself well. Which will than lead me to raising my voice. Its like going to the club, the music is loud and you cant hear urself you will than talk louder.

Another pros will be being able to know what the other side is hearing just incase some anoying sound comes up.

Hope i did differenciate your situation and mine XD. This thing is actually useful and yes like you said many people dont want it. Thanks for you reply.
