I have been annoyed by the high cpu usage of Xcode 4.0.2 when editing code. It is burning my MacBook! I think this may be related to the dynamic code checking. Any idea?

Have you maxed out the ram on your MB yet?
How could I max out the ram? Do you mean by enlarging the ram? Yes, I have enlarged it to 4GB.
Could I switch off the dynamic checking? Maybe this can reduce the appetite of this "little tool"~😝

AFAIK, it's always hungry, hungry hippo - the best defense right now is to use Xcode 3.2.6.
Xcode 4 isn't 'required' just yet, but it might happen later in the year with the next OS, which may help tame it a bit.
I mean the Xcode will dynamically check my code (maybe compile), by labelling the potential errors. This seems to be very costly, and I think this feature is not always useful.
PS: I have paid for this little tool, so the going back to Xcode 3 will be too frustrating.😟
