How to mirror Mac screen on iPad ?
Hi,
sometimes, I'd like to use my iPad to display my Mac screen (preferably by mirroring than screen extension) onto my iPad.
Is there a way to do this ? By cable ? by Wifi ?
Thanks for your help.

In a word, no.
I thank you for your reply.
I've found ways to use the iPad as an extended screen. But there would be no way to just "mirror" the screen ?
Take a look at Air Display:

I don't know if it supports mirroring, but you can ask the developer.
Regards.
Thanks for the tip.
This is the answer I just got from them (AirDisplay dev. team) :
Our Air Display app allows you to mirror with your Mac display once connected. You just go to System Preferences>Displays>Arrangement and check the mirroring option. To let you know, OS X requires that both screens have the same resolution once mirroring is enabled. That means if you mirror with your iPad, your Mac screen will change to 1024x768.
On their site I only see mac - iPad.
Does it also work from iPad to mac like you get an app that mirrors your iPad to your mac so you can record your iPad gameplay ?
Reflection Appwill let you view your iPad on the Mac.
Hello, FraPe.
There are a few apps that allow you to control your Mac from a remote location, or "mirror" to your iPad.
My preferred Method is using LogMeIn. They have a free app that allows full control of your desktop, including specially keys.
You can also use an app called MochaVNC, but it requires more setup than LogMeIn.
I saw that some people have recommended iDisplay. While this option works, I haven't found it as useful, and usually laggy.
Hope this helps,
Matthew.
I do need AppleTV for airplay ?

To AirpPlay to the AppleTV, yes.
But Airplay will not mirror your iPad onto a Mac. The app I mentioned will do that.
You can use an application called Duet. Go to http://www.duetdisplay.com/
