I would like to have desktop icons for sites regularly used--ebay, webmd, etc. Can't figure out how/where to do this. Can anyone heeellllppppp????? Thanks!
iPad 2, putting icons on desktop
Go to the site you want to add to your Home screen. Say you want to go to eBay search page a lot. Go there on the iPad and tap on the "+" button just left of the URL input slot at the top of Safari, as in the picture below. Last, tap on "Add to Home Screen. That's it!
FYI...type this URL (dave.merten.mobi) in your iPad and it will take you to a personal web app I developed. Add a (beer) bookmark icon for that. I have a lot of music stations programmed in it.
Or just get the ebay and web md apps from the app store.
I would like to have icons for ebay, etc on my ipad2desktop--can't figure out how/where--hhheeellllppp????
