Can't see security cameras using JAVA

If I use a PC and us Internet Explorer I can see the cameras using the JAVA applet. But on my Macbook with Java updated and running 10.6.6 I can't see the cameras in Chrome or Safari. (The flash site I'm accessing will not open in Firefox, but that is a seperate issue.) Is this an issue with the JAVA update. The error is really long, but I pasted it just in case someone could read it.
