can not rent movies on Apple TV2

This is my first time trying to rent a movie.

I access the "Rent (HD)" button, The screen now says "Rent 'Movie Title" You are about to rent...., Click on OK, Then I get a message that reads "A valid address is necessary to purchase." When I click OK, I'm brought back to the original screen of selecting the "Rent (HD)" button.
