XP network driver for Bootcamp on Macbook Black 13" ?

Hi,

I am running 10.5.x on a Black Macbook and just installed boot camp with Windows XP SP2. I do not seem to be able to find the right windows XP driver to make my ethernet work. I cannot find the exact model of the ethernet chip to get the appropriate driver.

Anybody knows a driver link or the exact model of the ethernet chip ?

Many thanks!

JP.

Black MacBook? You will have to boot to your XP side, and then insert the install DVD of either Leopard or Snow Leopard to get online access. Looking elsewhere for drivers will not likely be successful since Apple has made these things proprietary. In truth you are better off Googling for answers to MS or XP concerns. Apple Communities can address BC issues, true, but once your machine is partitioned Apple stops there - your Windows side is pure Microsoft. To detail the hardware & drivers breakdown just right-click Computer and access your Device Manager. Right-click on the hardware item in the list, and click Properties.
