App Store Updates keeps showing "invalid address"?

On my Ipad, Apps store shows that there are 6 updates available. When I update all, an "Invalid Address" message shows on my screen.

I press continue and verified that the account information showing on the next screen is correct; however, when I attempt to update again, the "Invalid Address" message shows up again. I tried turning the my IPad off then on again to see if that would correct it; however, the "Invalid Address" keeps showing each time I try to update. Has anyone in the community come across this before? Can someone please assist me? Thanks.

There are a number of threads about it - it looks like Apple recently updated their address validation. Some people have recorded success by :

  • ensuring that their iTunes account address is exactly the same as appears on their credit card bill
  • putting something in the second line of the address (including just copying the first line)
  • expanding abbreviations e.g. St to Street, Ave to Avenue etc (or conversely abbreviating)
  • putting apartment or suite number on the second address line

I came across the thread regarding the invalid address. In regards to my situation, I solved it using one of the replies. I verified my address using the United States Postal Services site (usps.com). Apparently, tne post office database does not show "Ct" in my address. I removed "Ct" to match it exactly with the Apple account information and it seems to work now. Thank you very much for your reply.
