When I go to my settings and I try to turn on sharing, nothing appears except "The Bonjour service has been disabled. Bonjour is required to share music with others. Please re-enable the service to use this feature." How do I do this on a Windows XP?
In your Start menu, right-click My Computer and select "Manage".
Expand "Services & Applications".
Open "Services". (Perhaps maximise the screen to better see what's going on.)
Right-click the Bonjour Service and select "Properties".
In the General tab, set the Startup type to "Automatic":
... and click OK.
Restart the PC and try opening iTunes again. Does it open without the Bonjour message this time?
It does open without the message and I'm able to set my sharing prefrences. Thanks a ton, I had a hard time finding help on the sight that would give me a straight-up solution.
